Despite his own personal benefit, Bivins explains that Clubhouse serves another purpose aside from growing one’s network. Speaking in large rooms on Clubhouse aids those who may have a fear of public speaking. It is not uncommon to become anxious when speaking to a crowd of unknown individuals, and doing so on Clubhouse is not nearly as overwhelming because the audience isn’t staring back at you. There is no need to imagine that all of the audience members are naked because you cannot actually see them.
