CALIFORNIA – Seagate has launched a “Backup Plus” series of portable hard drives which comprise of hard drives namely Ultra Touch, Backup Plus Slim, and Backup Plus. These hard drives offer an affordable solution to backup data on PC and it also gives an excellent warranty as well as bundled software.

Backup Plus Ultra Touch has a fabric layer on its top which gives it an amazing look. Unlike other hard drive options, Ultra Touch comes with an adaptor which makes it compatible for working with USB 3.0 and USB-C machines. This hard drive gives you a two-year warranty, whereas only one year warranty is available with other products. On buying the Backup Plus Ultra Touch, one gets a one-year subscription of the powerful photo editing software, Mylio Create and also two-month membership for the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan. And in the case of any data loss, data could be easily retrieved with the help of hard drive recovery specialists.

The other name in the series is Backup Plus Slim which looks similar to the Backup Plus Ultra Touch but it doesn’t have a fabric and USB-C adapter. It is a cheap hard drive with a USB 3.0 connection and it is available for almost half the cost of Backup Plus Ultra Touch. For those people who want to store a small amount of data, Backup Plus Slim would do the job. The Backup Plus Portable is suitable for those who demand a high capacity data storage up to 4TB. It looks similar to Backup Plus Slim and the two have almost the same colors. And this one doesn’t have a USB-C adapter as is the case with Backup Plus Slim.
